With New Years Eve just passing, so many of us are pledging resolutions or updating our to-do lists for 2013. If updating your home or moving into a new one is on your agenda for 2013, Main Street Vintage can provide the personalization and custom services you need to get started. The store changes weekly and there is always something fresh, original, and unique to discover!
After meeting one of the owners of Main Street Vintage, I was impressed by so many little things they do that make their store special. They take time to discuss with clients what their needs are and love helping the creative process flow, in addition to helping the local artisan community. Shopping local is great for supporting American-made and our local artisans, and Main Street Vintage supports both causes. All of their vendors are local and consist primarily of women-run businesses. Complementing their furniture, Main Street Vintage sells custom throw pillows, picture frames, room accents, gift options, and jewelry that is made by these local artisans and businesses.
The shop owners have set up the store so that you can imagine what a dresser would look like in your own home, complete with candles, pictures, and fun accents like peacock feathers. My daughter absolutely loved looking at all the handmade jewelry on one of the bureaus while I enjoyed the wall art and mirrors. You never realize what little touches your own home may be missing until you see what can be done by someone with a professional background in home staging and decor.
For more information about Main Street Vintage you can visit their Facebook page by clicking here. In addition, they are offering a special discount to Mommy Entourage readers until February 28, 2013. Mention Mommy Entourage when visiting and receive 10% off your total purchase (including sale!). Happy shopping!
